Apropos the letter of Nisar Hassan Ally Effendi in your newspaper of 24-7-2004 about Manchar Lake I would like to inform you that in the early fifties, I had been visiting Bubak village situated on the banks of this lake which was once the biggest water treasure of Pakistan. There used to be a gate at the entrance of Bubak with the words "Delhi Coronation Gate."

I asked one old resident of the village in those days as to what significance the Delhi coronation has with this gage.

I was told that Emperor King George V, visited Manchar Lake for shooting during Delhi coronation.

Recently when I visited Bubak after 46 years, I found that the gate has vanished.

May someone throw some light to testify the veracity of this story, a matter of historical importance.
